Description Jesus and the disciples continue to walk the countryside. And a great crowd follows them. Peter comes and asks Jesus to send the people away. He wants them to find food and a place to stay with local farmers and villagers. Jesus looks back out over the crowd of people. They want to hear from Jesus and have sacrificed to be there. Jesus considers this and tells the disciples to feed the people. A disciple points out that they only have a few loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus takes the baskets and proclaims to the heavens and the people, “Blessed is the Lord God, King of the Universe who brings forth bread from the earth.” Discussion Questions What did you like about the story?
